Hello Coaches, Cindy here, touching base with you.

In January 2017, the ICF SA Board of Directors and Invited Board Members met for its very first face to face Strategic planning meeting in Cape Town. During the two-day meeting the Board discussed a variety of focus areas, Strategizing and Goal planning for 2017. We have some exciting Events, strategic Engagements and New Developments lined-up to help cultivate and grow both Professional and in Business.

The Board also continued its conversations around engaging and recognizing the contributions of individual coach-members towards the advancement of the coaching profession in South Africa. I personally want to thank all ICF SA Board of Directors and Invited Board Members who graciously gave off their time, energy and commitment to advancing the Coaching Profession. And I want to thank you, our Members for engaging with us in a way that challenging growth, advancement; thriving to show up better for ourselves and our clients.

Some of our New Developments include:

Our email communication with you – you may have noticed that we have changed the way we communicate with you. Our new way is one newsletter with all events, news etc. No more multiple emails. Please store these newsletters as it contains links to events etc. It will also soon appear on our new website and ICF SA Facebook page.

ICF SA New Website – A new website is being developed that will have an events calendar and a full directory of coaches. The new site will be up and running this month.
Membership: ICF SA acknowledges all our members. We particularly want to show our appreciation to our long standing ICF Members. You will receive a phone call from us soon in this regard. To our new members, Welcome! We encourage you to make the most of your ICF Global Member benefits and ICF SA benefits. During March we are running two webinars on ICF Membership. See below for details.

The Prism Award

As an ICF Credential-holder, you are eligible to nominate an organization for a Prism Award if you’ve participated in its coaching program as an external or internal coach practitioner.

The Prism Award program is an opportunity for organizations of all sizes and in all sectors to celebrate and share their successes with members of the coaching and business communities. Through the nomination process, practitioners and organizations are able to deepen their commitment to coaching and articulate their definition of success.

The Prism Award nomination deadline is March 28, 2017, at 12 Noon (New York). If you want to nominate a Organisation please contact Cindy – president@coachfederation.org.za.
